Dunes RV Resort in Copalis, WA
August 13 & 14, 2005

This place was much nicer than Tidelands Resort.

Pros: Full Hook-ups, The showers were free, the bathrooms were nice & clean, and NO stickery weed!!!
There was also a nice playground for the kiddies (DS enjoyed it very much)
A few things we didn't use was the fire pit (didn't have time) a clamming building,
laundry facilities (upon request), Volleyball & Horseshoe pit and Motel rooms.  That's an idea for the future I suppose.

Cons: no Privacy, the campsites were fairly small, I'm sure they want to get in as many sites as possible.
No matter, because you want to spend time on the beach or in town instead of at your site mostly.

Our camper all set up

We took off for the beach for some sand action

We ran around on the beach & didn't want
to go NEAR the water & if I asked I got whiney protests with hints of cries.

Amazingly enough, after a little while we purposely
got THIS close to the water...

...and didn't realize the water MOVED.
We cried heartily & stood still like the water was glue.

On our way back to Daddy...

...Mommy needs a drink.

...and back at the camper
all we wanted to do was wear just a diaper
and act silly.

Ohh, and this skull cap was NICE.
No more hair in the face!!!

The next day we drove to the Jetty for lunch & more sand play

found driftwood

Buried Treasure!!!
(from DH's pocket)

Cutie Pie!!!

Another 3YO moment.

Even though I was standing right there,
we did NOT want to stand on the rocks.
Cries & protests were abundant

Even on the lower rocks we still protested

A tickle on a bare tummy
took care of the cries & protests.

The three faces of Ice cream eating
Ohh, this is a local creamery who sells by the ounce.  Kinda nice when you only want a "baby size" scoop!

Staring into space                                           Yum                                           Seriously good stuff
