Hanging Shelving & Bunks

I love these shelves.

All I did was:
Cut up some closet shelving to the size I wanted.
Put 4 ring hooks in the ceiling.

The "ropes" are 4 small dog leashes I bought at a $1.00 store.
I sewed in
loops with clip style curtain hooks inside.
The curtain hooks clip onto the shelves and are amazingly stong.

They can be easily taken down because I left the original dog "slide-lock hook" on the leash.

(see improvement update on Mods page 7)

Another mod I have done lately is I made a headboard for one of the large beds so our little child (and future children) do not roll out of bed in the middle of the night.  I used a thin piece of wood that runs the length of the cushion (mostly) and sits about couple inches above it.  I used a couple hinges, so it folds down easily when we pop down.   The cushion holds it up when in use.

I cannot take credit for this mod, but I cannot remember where I saw it, so sorry If I don't credit the original inventor!

Bunk Headboard...covered with carpet!

The first time we used this, slivers of wood kept on getting on the mattress.  It's fixed now.
